The project outcome is a series of hand-made dresses, creating a harmonious fusion of traditional and contemporary styles, anticipating the future of Kala Cotton. Welsh
has collaborated with Gujarati weaver Shamji Vishram Siju, together designing and
producing understated woven textile lengths for inclusion in the
exhibition.
